  • A unique ultra-narrow Jeep Wrangler conversion has been spotted in Morocco.
  • The crazy build is slightly wider than a motorcycle and has a central riding position.
  • It belongs to the same guy who owns the world’s widest Jeep Wrangler.

The Jeep Wrangler has long been known as one of the most capable off-road vehicles on the market, inspiring countless builds. However, one Wrangler JK owner from Morocco took a completely different direction, modifying the body and chassis to create what is now known as the world’s slimmest Jeep.

This strange and interesting transformation was discovered by photographer Mohamed Saber, who shared a viral video of the ultra-thin machine on Instagram. Saber graciously provided car spoon Detailed photos and videos are included, confirming that this offbeat Jeep is 100% real and not an elaborate CGI hoax.

A unique Wrangler

The heavily modified Wrangler’s twisted proportions left onlookers in disbelief, with many believing what they were seeing was an AI-generated hallucination. While we’ve seen narrow vehicles before, it’s hard to wrap your head around the Wrangler, which is only slightly wider than a motorcycle and hugs the road much tighter than a Renault Twizy.

A large portion of the Wrangler’s midsection has been completely dismantled, necessitating a major overhaul of the exterior, interior, and mechanical setup. Up front, Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille is gone, replaced by headlights that almost kiss each other, with the Jeep logo squeezed between them in a strange, comical display of minimalism.

Unconventional seating

Inside, the driver of the custom Wrangler sits alone in the front, with an additional passenger in the back. Needless to say, practicality is compromised, but at least the driver can enter and exit the vehicle from both sides. The rear end looks more like a toy, and the original spare wheel is still in place, beneath the shrunken hardtop, which only adds to the quirky, shrunken vibe.

World'S Skinniest Jeep Wrangler

Saber told us, skinny The Wrangler retains the original 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, which develops 280 hp (209 kW / 284 PS) and 353 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. While it’s hard to believe that a V6 still fits into such a tight space, the sound of the video above confirms the presence of an ICE engine.

Packaging aside, the biggest challenge seems to be the center of gravity, with the narrow tracks not ideal for taller vehicles with more ground clearance. Physics tells us that this combination makes the skinny Jeep prone to tipping over, requiring extra attention from the driver at every turn. But then again, this feels more like a whimsical project than a serious off-roader, so we wonder if the owner is losing sleep over the handling issues.

Interestingly, the ultra-narrow vehicle’s Moroccan license plate reads 42205, which is very similar to the 42200 of the world’s widest Wrangler, which is made up of two conjoined vehicles. Saber confirmed that the two Wranglers are part of the same family, proving that owners have a penchant for quirky Jeep creations. Side-by-side, these polar opposites reveal the vast difference in width between the two Wranglers.

Thanks Saber for sharing the photo!
