The countdown has begun, and there are only 45 days before traveling to Indaba 2025 in Africa, and there is still a solid plan to be expected to become another successful performance!
With Bonday opening on May 12 and showing days between May 13 and 15, the city of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal province will welcome delegates from around the world to an unforgettable display of Africa’s rich tourism industry.
The South African tourism industry is fully committed to hosting world-class events that not only emphasizes Africa’s diverse travel experiences, but also serves as a powerful platform for building meaningful partnerships and driving business opportunities.
South Africa’s tourism industry has established an industry-leading advisory committee to strengthen its commitment to partnerships and cooperation and ensure the seamless implementation of this global travel trade activity.
Despite some early challenges in the program, the team’s efforts doubled, working tirelessly to ensure this year’s show not only met expectations, but exceeded expectations.
The response so far has been positive since the opening of African Travel Indaba registration in February, with more than 500 exhibitors from 19 African countries already registered and receiving more than 650 hosting and non-custodial buyer applications from around the world. This impressive response sets the stage for an outstanding trade layer, full of opportunities to connect, collaborate and celebrate African travel stories. Applications are still open to custodial and non-custodial buyers, with special invitations extended to domestic and regional buyers’ applications.
South Africa’s tourism industry is also pleased to announce that the media application for media media is officially open, inviting journalists, broadcasters and content creators to cover this iconic trade show that showcases the best tourist landscapes in Africa. Media can be registered at: www.indaba-southafrica.co.za/media/default.aspx.
During the president of the South African Group of 20 (G20), South Africa’s tourism industry is honored to demonstrate the country’s ability to host leading global events. Traveling in Africa Indaba is more than just a trade show, it is a celebration of the vitality, resilience and unparalleled travel experience of our continent.
South Africa Tourism thanks all partners and stakeholders for participating in this journey and looks forward to welcoming all delegates to KwaZulu-Durban, Natal in May!
