Ford has unveiled the 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition to honor Bill Stroppe, a key figure in the 1960s and 1970s known for modifying factory Broncos to compete in off-road events such as the Baja 1000 and the NORRA Mexican 1000. -The prepared Bronco won the 1969 Baja 1000, becoming the only stock 4×4 in the event’s history to take an overall victory. He further cemented his impact on the company’s racing history through collaborations, including his famous partnership with racing icon Parnelli Jones. The Stroppe Special Edition includes unique graphics and color options that emphasize its connection to the original Bronco. It is equipped with advanced technology and enhanced performance, making it suitable for off-road adventures and daily use.

2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Special Edition: Styling
The 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition stays true to its roots with a modern makeover based on Baja Broncos’ original Calypso Coral, Wimbledon White and Astra Blue livery. For the first time, Ford has added Code Orange trim outside the Raptor range, with an Oxford body-in-white and an Atlas Blue painted hardtop. The design also incorporates practical off-road elements, including a matte black hood to minimize glare in bright desert environments, square high-clearance fenders and 17-inch beadlock wheels. Other exterior touches include a Frozen White grille, Code Orange tow hooks and “Stroppe Special Edition” badges on the fenders.
2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Special Edition: Engine details
The Stroppe Edition is based on the two-door Wildtrak model and features a powerful off-road hardware package. Key features include 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires and High Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) 3.0 with Fox internal bypass dampers. It also comes with side steps integrated with rock rails for added durability.
This new version is powered by a 325-horsepower 2.7-liter turbocharged engine paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive for enhanced performance. Other off-road features include Baja GOAT (Go Over Any Terrain) mode and stabilizer bar disconnect for better control on rough terrain.
2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Special Edition: Cab Layout
The special edition model’s cabin features a white instrument panel originally introduced on the Bronco Heritage model, complemented by Code Orange trim. These accents are reflected in various elements, including the “Bronco” wordmark on the instrument panel, the bezel around the GOAT mode dial, the interior of the handlebars, and contrast stitching on the seats and top of the dash. Additionally, the “Stroppe Edition” badge is prominently displayed on the center console, just in front of the cupholders.

Ford has not revealed production numbers for the Stroppe special edition, but it is expected to be available in early 2025. Pricing details are yet to be announced but it is likely to be higher than the base price of the standard Wildtrak which starts at USD 60,225 (approximately Rs 50.62 lakh).
