Main points
Sharp month-on-month sales declines for most models reflected seasonal adjustments after peak festive demand in October. While commuter motorcycles such as the Splendor and Shine continue to lead in overall numbers, their steep decline highlights the cyclical nature of the Indian two-wheeler market. The Bajaj Pulsar’s growth amid widespread decline is noteworthy, showcasing its consistent appeal in the sports commuter segment. This sequential decline is a reminder of the automotive industry’s volatility, where external factors such as seasonal trends and market dynamics can significantly impact sales performance.
