Hero Super Brilliance
Hero Super Splendor is one of the most affordable bikes in India in the 125cc segment. The motorcycle is available in five attractive colors (Black-Sports Red, Black & Accent, Black Silver STR, Candy Blazing Red and Metallic Nexus Blue) and is priced at Rs 80,848 for the base drum brake variant. It is equipped with a 124.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 11bhp at 7500rpm and 10.6Nm of torque at 6000rpm, and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The Hero bike is priced at Rs 85,178 for the drum brake version and Rs 89,078 for the disc brake version and is available in matte grey, black and candy red colours. It has a fully digital instrument cluster that displays key information such as low fuel alerts, real-time mileage and service reminders. The Xtec is powered by a BS6.2 compliant 124.7cc fuel injected engine.
TVS strategy
Another attractive option on the list is the TVS Raider, which recently got a new drum brake variant, bringing the entry price down to Rs 85,010 (ex-showroom, Delhi), a significant reduction from the previous base price of Rs 95,219. The Raider is available in various variants, with the top-of-the-range SX variant priced at Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom). The single-seater version is priced at Rs 96,010 and the split version is priced at Rs 97,850. The iGO variant is priced at Rs 98,530 and the top-spec SSE variant is priced at Rs 1.01 lakh.
Mechanically, the TVS Raider is powered by a BS6-compliant 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, three-valve engine that outputs 11.2bhp @ 7,500rpm and 11.2Nm @ 6,000rpm, mated to a five-speed gearbox . The bike features an LED headlight and a clear LCD display that displays statistics such as mileage, gear and fuel level. Premium SX models go a step further, with a high-tech TFT screen, smartphone integration, turn-by-turn navigation and a USB charging port.
Honda SP125
The 2025 version of this popular bike with drum brake is priced at Rs 91,771 (ex-showroom). The SP125 is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that currently complies with OBD2B emission standards. It delivers 10.72bhp and 10.9Nm using a 5-speed gearbox. Notably, the top-spec disc brake is priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new model has upgraded its features, equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT display, provides Bluetooth connectivity, and works with the Honda RoadSync app for route planning navigation. Additionally, a USB Type-C charging port is now included. As for colors, the 2025 SP125 is available in five different options: Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Fire Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.
Bajaj Pulsar N125
Bajaj offers the Pulsar N125 in the 125cc sports variant, suitable for riders with a budget below Rs 1 lakh. The bike is available in two variants: the base LED Disc model priced at Rs 92,704 and the top-spec LED Disc BT model priced at Rs 96,704 (both ex-showroom). In terms of color matching, the basic model is available in four colors: pearl metallic white, ebony black, cocktail red, and Caribbean blue. The premium LED Disc BT trim comes in three two-tone combinations: Ebony Black with Cocktail Broad Red, Pewter Gray with Citrus, and Ebony Black with Purple Fury.
The Pulsar N125 is powered by a 124.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 11.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 6,000rpm, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Pulsar N125 comes with features like LCD instrument cluster, LED headlights and taillights, and USB charging port. Premium versions enhance the package with an integrated starter generator, a switchable automatic start/stop system, and Bluetooth connectivity for call and text notifications.
Hero Extreme 125R
The Hero Xtreme 125R offers a sporty yet affordable option for commuters and is priced at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom) for the standard model and Rs 99,500 (ex-showroom) for the ABS variant. It comes in Cobalt Blue, Storm Red and Stallion Red and is powered by a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 11.5bhp and 10.5Nm, mated to a five-speed gearbox.
