Toyota recorded 28,414 units in February 2025 with 25,220 units, up 13% year-on-year sales
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold 28,414 units at the end of February 2025 and recorded a year-on-year increase of 13%. The count marks a considerable increase in 25,220 units sold the same month last year, reaffirming Toyota’s growing market business. Domestic sales were 26,414 units, while exports contributed 2,000 units.
The past year has been particularly beneficial for Toyota, with total sales reaching 3,06,105 units between April 2024 and February 2025, compared with a 30% increase from 2,36,332 units sold in the same period of fiscal 2023-24. Much of these successes are powered by Toyota’s popular MPVs and SUVs, accounting for 68% of overall sales.
Models like Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Glanza and Fortuner are still satisfied. To cater to off-road enthusiasts, Toyota has reopened reservations for the Land Cruiser 300 to cope with overwhelming demand. The introduction of new GR-S class under the GR Sport range brings off-road suspension, differential and improved shock absorbers for better handling in extreme conditions.

Compact models such as Taisor and Glanza reshape versions of Fronx and Baleno, respectively, continue to play a major role in Toyota, obtaining decent numbers in the quantity-based market. These small cars account for 28% of sales in February. Toyota will introduce the Urban Cruiser BEV in India later this year after its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
