
Toyota expands Fortuner Legender lineup and features new 4×4 manual variants
The Toyota Fortuner Legender has updated a new 4×4 manual transmission variant for Rs. Rs 4.636 lakh (ex-showroom). This addition divides the legend into three configurations: 4×4 mt, 4×2 AT and 4×4 AT – an extended option for buyers looking for quality SUVs with off-road capabilities.
Manual transfer in 4×4 variants
The key update to this new version is the 6-speed manual transmission, which is paired with Toyota’s 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine. The power output remains unchanged at 204 hp, but the torque delivery is different from the automatic version. The manual variant produces 420 nm of torque, 80 nm lower than the automatic version’s 500 nm.
In addition to the new transmission options, the manual version also sees changes to its feature list or design elements to align with its automatic counterpart.

The cabin retains the interior theme in black and maroon, and the feature list is similar to the automatic version. Notable equipment includes ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, an 11-speaker JBL audio system with subwoofer, handleless horse-mounted bezel operation and seven airbags for safety reasons.
