- Another GR Corolla is now on sale for less than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
- This is the third case of this kind we have come across in the past few months.
- This is a significant change from the large price increases in previous years.
Don’t look just yet, but Toyota GR Corolla pricing appears to be normalizing. After several cars were advertised with prices below the MSRP, a third one showed up in Virginia. It sold for $2,000 less than the MSRP, or $44,619.
var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){ adpushup.triggerAd(“4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a”); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd(“6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657”); } });
It can’t be helped; $44,619 is still a lot of money. But at least in this case, buyers can feel like they got a good deal. Toyota says this Circuit Edition GR Corolla with all the bells and whistles should cost $46,619.

To be clear, buyers get its excellent 300-horsepower (223-kilowatt) engine, a six-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. Having driven this car at its limits, I can assure you that it is a long-time superstar in the hot hatchback segment.
window._taboola = window._taboola || (); _taboola.push({ mode: ‘thumbnails-a-mid’, container: ‘taboola-mid-article’, placement: ‘Mid Article’, target_type: ‘mix’ } );
window._taboola = window._taboola || (); _taboola.push({ mode: ‘thumbnails-oc-2×1’, container: ‘taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic’, placement: ‘Article mid thumbnail organic’, target_type: ‘mix’ });
Things like the Circuit version’s limited-slip differential and heating elements make it a practical enthusiast’s car, so people aren’t going to get a bargain here. That being said, we’re not entirely surprised that this car and others like it are selling for so much more compared to their MSRP.
First, it’s worth noting that every GR Corolla we found that sold for less than the MSRP was painted white. In my opinion, this is perhaps the least popular of the few colors available for the model. Also, Toyota did just launch an updated version of the GR Corolla, which may attract buyers’ attention instead of the original here.
That being said, this is a great little hatchback that you’ll love if you really enjoy driving it. Those interested should check it out at Nelson Toyota in Stanley Township, Virginia. This isn’t a sales pitch, but a hat tip to the dealership for offering a car at a price that sounds great. Don’t forget, we’ll call out those who jack up the price, too.
