Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched another special edition product this festive season. Now, it’s the turn of the Rumion compact MPV, which is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The new Toyota Rumion Festive Edition comes with Toyota Genuine Accessories (TGA) package at no extra cost. Normally, this accessory pack is priced at Rs 20,608.
The Rumion model lineup currently has seven variants, priced from Rs 10.44 lakh to Rs 13.73 lakh. There are three manual variants – S, G and V – priced at Rs 10.44 lakh, Rs 11.60 lakh and Rs 12.33 lakh respectively. Buyers have three automatic options – S, G and V – priced at Rs 11.94 lakh, Rs 13 lakh and Rs 13.73 lakh respectively. The S CNG variant is priced at Rs 11.39 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
The TGA package enhances the vehicle’s visual appearance. It offers chrome door visors and a roof edge spoiler, as well as trim on the headlights, side moldings, license plate, rear bumper and tailgate. You also get new Rumion Festival Edition carpet mats and fenders.

Powering the Toyota Rumion is the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that also powers the Ertiga. The motor is mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and is said to deliver a power output of 103bhp and 137Nm of torque. This compact MPV is also available in CNG fuel option. Its CNG version produces a maximum power of 88bhp and 121.5Nm of torque. The Rumion CNG is only available with manual gearbox. Toyota claims fuel efficiency of 20.51kmpl and 26.11km/kg for the Rumion petrol and CNG variants respectively.
The top-end Rumion V trim offers unique features such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, rear parking camera, front and side airbags, key-operated retractable mirrors and automatic headlights.
