Toyota Taisor festive edition launched in India

Toyota has launched a limited edition Urban Cruiser Taisor to mark the festive season with unique exterior and interior accessories worth Rs 20,160. This package is only available on turbo-petrol models and is available until October 2024. These include chrome accents on the grille and headlights, gray and red front and rear skid plates, sill guards, door visors, side body cladding, all-weather 3D floor mats and welcome door lights. Toyota claims that all these accessories will be installed at dealers upon shipment, guaranteeing the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

For the uninitiated, the Taisor is the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and is the sixth product from Toyota’s partnership with Maruti Suzuki. It is currently priced between Rs 7.74 lakh and Rs 13.04 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Here are some other specifications of Toyota vehicles.

Toyota City Cruiser Taisor: Powertrain

The Urban Cruiser Taisor comes with the same engine options as its donor model (1.2-litre four-cylinder K-series petrol and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol). The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 88.5bhp and 113Nm, while the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 98.6bhp and 147.6Nm. Transmission options include 5-speed manual, 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) and 6-speed torque converter automatic. A CNG powertrain (76.44bhp and 98.5Nm) is also available.
