Toyota Taisor offers free accessories for the holidays

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor festive limited edition launched. Following the launch of the Hyryder limited edition, the Japanese carmaker is now offering a similar package for the Taisor, only available on the turbo-petrol-equipped G and V variants. This special edition comes with accessories worth Rs. 20,160/- at no additional cost.

Major cosmetic upgrades

The Taisor Limited Edition focuses on exterior improvements, giving the SUV a more premium appearance. At the front, it has chrome trim around the large grille and additional inserts on the headlights. The front lip spoiler is available in granite gray or red.

At the sides, the SUV features thicker side skirts and additional cladding, as well as sills. Door visors were also added to protect against rain. The rear features a subtle spoiler, which is also available in granite gray or red to match the front lip.

interior improvements

In terms of interior, the limited edition brings two key changes-3D all-weather floor mats and welcome door lights. Otherwise, the cabin and its feature set are the same as the standard Taisor, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, a head-up display and a 360-degree navigation system. camera. It also comes with safety features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and ISOFIX mounts.

Powertrain options

The Limited Edition is only available with the turbo-petrol engine, a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that delivers 100 PS of power and 148 Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The standard Taisor also comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 90 PS and 113 Nm.

Pricing and competition

Despite the addition of free accessories, the price of the turbo petrol variant remains unchanged with prices starting at Rs. 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs. 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom). The Toyota Taisor competes with Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Fronx, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
