Toyota has unveiled a new special edition of its GR Yaris hatchback, limited to 51 units, exclusively for the Italian market. The GR Yaris TGR Italia Limited Edition celebrates the 51st anniversary of the automaker’s first World Rally Championship win with a retro livery and unique badging.

Another unique touch on the exterior is the TGR Italy Limited Edition badge. Similar badges are found inside the cabin, bearing the production number of each car. The hot hatchback rides on a set of 18-inch forged wheels finished in Heritage Gold and shod with semi-slick Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires.
Standard equipment includes the Technology Package, which adds parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking.
The turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine remains unchanged and produces 276 hp (206 kW / 280 PS) in the facelifted EU-spec model. The TGR Italia Limited Edition is available exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels via the rally-bred GR-Four system.
The GR Yaris TGR Italy Limited Edition will be available exclusively on the Toyota Italy website starting September 9. Each of the 51 units will be priced at €67,500 ($74,594), with deliveries expected by the end of 2024. Pre-orders require a €2,500 ($2,762) deposit, which includes a test drive of the race car, two VIP passes to the 2025 TGR Italy season, a special car cover, and a Gazoo Racing sportswear.
