Ahead of the festive season, TVS Motor Company has introduced a new colour for the top-of-the-line TD version of the Ronin. It is called Midnight Blue and is priced at Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom India). The new Midnight Blue colour features a contrasting fluorescent green stripe running from the fuel tank to the side panels. It also gets a black windscreen above the LED headlight. Apart from this, the motorcycle remains unchanged.
The TVS Ronin Midnight Blue (or the Festival Edition) is still powered by a 225.9cc single-cylinder air-cooled/oil-cooled engine that produces 20bhp and 19.9Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and is assisted by a slip-assist clutch. The motorcycle uses a gold inverted front fork and a rear monoshock. The suspension is adjustable in 7 levels, while the braking setup consists of a single disc at both ends.

In terms of features, the top-of-the-line TVS Ronin comes with full-LED lighting, a digital display (with Bluetooth connectivity), dual-channel ABS, adjustable bars, two ABS modes (city and rain) and a USB charger. Vimal Sumbly, Senior Business Head, TVS Motor Company said, “The TVS Ronin sets a benchmark with its modern retro design and advanced features. The TVS Ronin has been reduced by Rs 15,000 and is priced from Rs 1.35 lakh for the base SS variant to Rs 1.73 lakh for the top TD Special Edition. The other two models in the range are the DS and TD, which are priced at Rs 1.57 lakh and Rs 1.69 lakh respectively. These prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

The TD Special Edition is now available for booking. In terms of its price, the TVS Ronin competes with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
