Unplugged’s Tesla Model 3 Performance Package Includes

The entire carbon fiber aerodynamic package for the Highland Series Model 3 Performance is priced at $7,430 and not only looks good, but it also promises to increase downforce

In recent years, Unplugged Performance has firmly established itself as the go-to tuner for all things Tesla, and has just launched a slew of new upgrades for an updated Model 3 Performance codenamed “Project Highland.” These modifications give the car a noticeably more aggressive appearance compared to the standard model.

Like other high-performance Tesla models, the Model 3 Performance is similar in design to its smaller counterparts. Sure, it has sporty touches like a revised front bumper and subtle rear spoiler lip, but it’s still pretty restrained. To combat this, Unplugged has introduced a series of carbon fiber parts, starting with a redesigned front aerodynamic package.

When purchased as a complete package, priced at $3,050, the overhauled front fascia includes a carbon lip spoiler, canards, aerodynamic spoilers and lower diffuser area. Those who don’t need all these parts can purchase them separately.

Matching the aggressive new front end are carbon fiber side skirts, starting at $995, carbon fiber accents on the rear bumper ($395), carbon diffuser ($595), and a fixed carbon fiber rear wing, available in satin finish, for $2,695 and gloss finish available in two colors. The entire package, including all front, side and rear parts, is priced at $7,430.

Unlike many other kits on the market, these aerodynamic components aren’t just for aesthetics, but are claimed to generate an additional 426 pounds (193 kilograms) of downforce.

Unplugged also offers handling upgrades for Model 3 Performance and all other Model 3 variants. These include carbon-ceramic brakes, several different coilover suspension systems, front and rear limited-slip differentials, new anti-roll bars, adjustable front upper control arms and braided brake lines. A number of different wheel options are also available.

Owners seeking extreme performance and willing to pay whatever it takes can purchase Unplugged’s flagship wheel with a carbon fiber barrel and forged aluminum spokes, starting at $19,995.
