Royal Enfield is all set to woo the Indian cycling fraternity with multiple new motorcycles in 350cc and 650cc segments
Royal Enfield is all set to launch a range of new motorcycles in the Indian market in the coming months. Over the past few days, multiple bikes have been monitored during trial runs. The local bike maker has also laid out detailed plans for the upcoming EICMA 2024 in Italy, where it will launch several new products, including the much-anticipated electric motorcycle. In this article, we have compiled all the Royal Enfield motorcycles that have been spied testing in India and will be launched soon.
1. 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Our friends at Overdrive spotted the facelifted Hunter 350 near the brand’s factory in Tamil Nadu. While the 2025 Hunter 350 won’t receive major revisions, it will receive subtle updates in the form of new color options and fresh graphics. Halogen headlight units will be replaced by modern LED units for improved visibility.
The suspension will also get some retuning to make it more efficient than before. The instrument cluster could also be updated to give it a more upmarket look. However, mechanically, the 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be the same as the existing model, powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder engine. The official launch is likely to take place in the first quarter of 2025.
2. 2025 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
The Interceptor 650 has been on sale in India for 6 years since it was first launched in 2018. Needless to say, it was due for an update, and a new model of the motorcycle was recently spotted testing in near-production form. Spy photos show that the 2025 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 will come with a new single-cabin instrument console, which is borrowed from new RE bikes such as the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450.
The 2025 Interceptor 650 will continue to feature telescopic front suspension instead of the USD forks that we have noticed on modern Royal Enfield bikes. It will retain the same engine and gearbox setup as the current model and is scheduled to be launched in the first half of 2025.
3. Royal Enfield Bullet 650
Royal Enfield is developing a 650cc version of the Bullet, so don’t be surprised if it hits the market by mid-2025. Recently, the Bullet 650 was spotted in production status, with reports suggesting that it will be equipped with the same version of the chassis as the Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650.
Some of the notable features of the upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 650 include round headlights, one-piece seat, wire-spoke wheels and a teardrop-shaped fuel tank. It will be powered by the same 648cc parallel twin engine and 6-speed gearbox. Launched in India, the Bullet 650 is probably the most affordable 650cc bike in Royal Enfield’s armoury.
4. Royal Enfield Classic 650
Almost everyone knows that the Royal Enfield Classic 650 is under development and will be launched in India soon. This was confirmed a few weeks ago when a production-ready Classic 650 mule was spotted in the UK. Some unconfirmed reports claim that the motorcycle will debut at EICMA 2024, along with the Bear 650 and Flying Flea electric motorcycles.
Spy shots taken in the UK reveal that the Classic 650 will have a very identical layout to the in-production Classic 350. It will be powered by the same 648cc parallel twin engine as the brand’s other 650cc motorcycles. Cycling enthusiasts can see it firsthand at Motoverse 2024 in Goa in November.
5. Royal Enfield Himalayan 650
Apparently, Royal Enfield is also planning to launch a larger version of the Himalayan adventure motorcycle. A few months ago, the first spy photos of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 650 surfaced online and it is believed that the motorcycle could be launched in the Indian market in the second half of 2025.
The spy shots further reveal that the car also includes a split seat setup, single exhaust pipe, 20+L fuel tank, a fully digital TFT instrument cluster with integrated Google Maps, music controls, and more. It will draw power from the proven 648cc parallel-twin engine and 6-speed gearbox. The Himalayan 650 will go head-to-head with the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Benelli TRK 502 in India.
6. Royal Enfield Classic 350 Buoy
Patent images leaked earlier this year revealed that Royal Enfield is developing a bobber version of its popular Classic 350 motorcycle. Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber was also spotted on the roads during the trial run. It’s obvious that the bobber version will get a lot of cosmetic updates over the Classic 350.
The patent images confirm a single seat, split armrests, thick rear fenders, upright handlebars, front-mounted footpegs, and more. It will borrow the engine and gearbox setup from the Classic 350 and will be priced at around Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
7. Royal Enfield Bear 650
It’s based on the Interceptor 650, with a scrambler-style stance that enhances its utility in a variety of riding conditions. It features round LED headlights, a stylish fuel tank, one-piece seats and minimalist body panels, all of which give it a rugged appearance. The design also includes tubular armrests and round LED taillights with chrome housings, complemented by LED turn signals on either side.
