The Mini didn’t say much about the car, but the Oxford version of the wheels wrapped around 18-inches in summer tires. Other highlights include LED headlights and a panoramic sunroof. Available in three colors, including burning blue metal, Nanuq White Metallic and Sunny Side Yellow.
The interior is equipped with two-tone sports seats, worn in vescin and fabric interior. They are joined by ignorant headlines, dual-zone climate control systems and a 9.4-inch display.
Customers can also expect a variety of driver assistance systems including forward collisions, left turn warnings and lane assistants. They should join as speed limiting assistants and parking assistants.
Although Mini mentioned that the Oxford version has a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, they didn’t say anything related to it. However, it could be a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 161 hp (120 kW/163 PS) and 184 lb-ft (249 nm) of torque. This should enable the 2-door model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 7.4 seconds and then reach a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).
Mini is currently accepting a refundable deposit of $100 for pre-orders and plans to start production in March. If you are interested, you should act quickly, as only “a limited number of units” will be generated.
