Vinfast releases new TVC, hint at what’s coming

Vinfast is a Vietnamese automobile giant that has been expanding its footprint in various international markets

Vinfast has officially shared its latest TVC to make us understand the expectations of our Indian business. We witnessed some models at the Bharat Mobility 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi in January. The company promises to start its Indian operations soon. In fact, over the past few years, we know it has been looking for a landscape where manufacturing plants are built. All of these examples clearly show that it has confidence in selling cars in the world’s third largest market.

Vinfast releases new TVC

We were able to see the trailer provided by Vinfast India on YouTube. Visual effects capture video clips of multiple models from Vinfast. Admittedly, it is not clear which one will attribute it to our shores. However, this video shows 5 models – VF5, VF6, VF7, VF8 and VF9. All of these are electric SUVs of different sizes. Obviously, this is the entire Vinfast family that the company sells in many parts of the world. For the Indian market, we can expect the VF7 mid-sized SUV to be the first product to be released before the end of this year.

Often, we see almost similar design languages ​​on all vehicles in the ad. That’s the characteristic of Vietnam’s auto giant. It wants to ensure that its cars are immediately recognizable and have a unique styling compared to any other car. In addition, there are multiple battery pack options to choose from. Therefore, it can use pricing. Finally, the interior of these cars (by international models) is very modern and premium. Customers can expect the latest technology, convenience, security and connectivity facilities.

My opinion

Interestingly, the Vietnamese automaker also hinted that the pint-sized VF3 and VF6 are the other two models planned for our market. Apparently, Vinfast will try several models for different prices to build itself here in the beginning. It will introduce other products in the following years as things go. We know that the Indian market is one of the most challenging markets in the world. That’s why many automakers have even left the country. Therefore, Vinfast will need to ensure it conducts thorough market research and position its EV accordingly.
