But now, a viral TikTok video is sparking curiosity and controversy, leaving the internet debating whether it’s a real video or an AI-generated fever dream. Welcome to 2025, where the lines between reality and technology seem increasingly blurred.
The original video, posted on TikTok by user @braden__._, quickly racked up nearly 1 million views in less than 24 hours before being deleted. It also racked up 124,000 likes during its brief stay online, proving that nothing grabs people’s attention like a gutted vintage Porsche. But the mystery doesn’t end there.

The video purportedly shows the aftermath of a devastating fire involving a number of luxury Porsches. Casualties included a completely destroyed Porsche 930 Turbo and a severely damaged R230 Mercedes-Benz SL550. Police cordoned off the scene, and a sign hanging near the Porsche’s engine bay read “WARNING: THIS MAY BE EVIDENCE.”
In the next room we can see an example of what looks like an original 911 Targa. While the Targa was in better condition than the other vehicles, it suffered significant damage, with part of the roof collapsing onto the smoking body and the rear windshield completely shattered.

However, eagle-eyed commenters were quick to refute this theory, pointing out inconsistencies in the background. The debate didn’t stop there, as other users began speculating whether the video was real, suggesting it could be the work of artificial intelligence.
On Tik Tok, the creator (allegedly) clarified the confusion in the comments, saying: “I’m on the east coast and this is just a coincidence with what’s going on in the west. Interestingly, the TikTok user also shared a photo on TikTok and Instagram showing three Porsche 911s, including a red 930 Turbo, which is said to be the same car that was burned in the video. The image, which carries a religious message, doesn’t do much to confirm the authenticity of the video, but it certainly adds fuel to the fire (pun totally intended).
To verify the authenticity of the video, we conducted multiple reverse image searches of the video footage and accompanying photos. So far, nothing. As of press time, we couldn’t confirm whether the viral clip depicts a real-life tragedy or a clever AI fabrication. However, some details didn’t add up, like the burned-out Mercedes tires that appeared to be intact.
