Wichita, opportunity.— The National Association of Interscholastic Athletics (NAIA) has selected Park City Arena and the city of Wichita as host sites for the 2025 NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Championships. The 2025 championships will take place on March 14-15 and include double-elimination tournaments in 10 weight classes.
“Park City Arena and the Wichita Visitors Bureau have been outstanding hosts to our men’s wrestling national championships over the past several years,” said NAIA Tournament Director Austin Bennett. “We are excited to continue our partnership, this time bringing the passionate approach and athlete-focused environment of Park City Arena and Visit Wichita to the women’s championship.”
The NAIA has also selected Park City Arena and Visit Wichita to host the NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championship through 2027. Park City Arena and Visit Wichita have hosted the tournament for five consecutive years. The 2025 championship will take place from March 6 to 8 and, like the women’s championship, will consist of double-elimination tournaments in 10 weight classes.
“Visit Wichita is honored to host the 2026 and 2027 NAIA Men’s Wrestling Championships, and we look forward to hosting the tournament in 2025 and proudly hosting it in the heart of the country every year since 2020,” said Visit Wichita Vice President of Sports Development President Josh Howell said. “Additionally, we are extremely excited to welcome the NAIA Women’s Wrestling Championships for the first time in 2025. Wichita’s passion for wrestling and sports, our successful record hosting this national event, and our region’s diverse and world-class facilities, such as Park City Stadium makes the area an ideal location for sporting events. ”
