Wald International unveils striking new body kit for Aston Martin family car
- Wald International has unveiled the Aston Martin DBX Black Bison Edition.
- The SUV gets a body kit and a new set of 24-inch alloy wheels.
Aston Martin recently updated its SUV and best-seller, redesigning the interior while dropping the base DBX from the lineup. However, Japanese tuner Wald International has a new body kit for owners of the standard DBX.
Wald’s body kit for this high-riding Aston Martin bears its iconic Black Bison moniker. The modified SUV doesn’t look as wild as Mansory’s, but it adds an extra layer of visual impact to the DBX.

The front gets a bumper extension that combines a splitter and trim around the bumper air intakes. The bodyside gets deeper side skirts, while the stock fenders remain unchanged. The rear end gets a more prominent gloss black diffuser, and there are also low-profile body-color attachments around the lower rear fascia.
The “Sports Line Black Bison Edition” body kit is made of ABS plastic and can be matched with a variety of aftermarket alloy wheels. The model shown here has 24-inch black wheels from Wald.
The Aston Martin DBX Black Bison Edition does not feature any interior, chassis or performance upgrades. The kit is compatible with the “regular” DBX, but not the DBX 707. This includes the V8-powered model with 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS), as well as the China-exclusive inline-six version with 429 hp (320 kW / 435 PS).
The body kit costs 2,310,000 yen ($15,922), but owners can also purchase each part separately. The splitter costs 990,000 yen ($6,824), the side skirts 660,000 yen ($4,549), and the rear diffuser 825,000 yen ($5,684). Finally, the optional 24-inch alloy wheels cost 349,800-371,800 yen ($2,408-2,560), not including the cost of tires.
