What is the best-looking new sedan on the market today?

Car design isn’t as simple as it seems. Many cars come and go without really leaving a mark in the minds of customers. Some cars seem to simply aim to not offend (and still fail). Other cars go for gold, trying to leave a mark on car design for decades to come. Today, our question is: Which new sedan on the market right now is the best looking?

Our opening image is of the unquestionably beautiful Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Since its launch in 2015, designers and enthusiasts alike have generally agreed that it is a beautiful car. Part of that is due to its proportions, but the overall design language is simply outstanding.

The Cadillac CT5-V is another potential choice. It’s more aggressive, angular, and longer. It has every bit of attitude and capability expressed through its styling. The smaller CT4-V has similar cues, but is decidedly more subtle and subdued.

I’d also say there’s something to love about the Audi A7’s beautiful proportions and shape. Early versions of the RS7 were probably the car’s purest form, but even the latest version blends strong design elements with gentle curves. But maybe you prefer something larger and more stately.

Well, the Bentley Flying Spur, Cadillac Celestiq or Rolls-Royce Phantom might fit the bill. All three cars have a huge presence. They’re also eye-catching, and they don’t have to sacrifice design principles for aerodynamics like some sports sedans do.

There are plenty of other sedans vying for the spotlight. The Lexus IS, Volvo S60, Porsche Taycan, and Genesis G70 all have their moments and look stunning.
