Why this Pennsylvania Road looks like a drunken snake now

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the speeding operation involved one-third of all motor vehicle deaths and killed 12,151 people in 2022. Given the dangers, governments and law enforcement have proposed many ways to stop this practice.

However, few people will cause eyebrows like Montgomery. About 25,000 people in the small Pennsylvania community decided to draw a local road with curved lines. The end result makes Grays Lane look like a sad surreal painting.

Although the driver can currently ignore the line and continue to go straight, the situation will not be longer. Townships pointed out that the feature division will rise soon, indicating that the road will be arranged by plastic columns, which will force the driver to slow down and follow the winding road.

Of course, that’s the point where the town wants drivers to slow down in the residential area. Officials reportedly received multiple complaints about people accelerating on the road, and residents appear to be joining the target.

Officials did not elaborate, but maps of the area show that Grace Lane could be used as a shortcut between the two main roads. If you are not cutting there, you must travel up to 1.5 miles (2.4 km) depending on how you drive.

Thanks to the change, Grays Lane could be an attractive shortcut. Additionally, drivers who do now take this route may be slow to drive.
