Wichita, Kansas— The Babe Ruth League (BRL) announced today that Wichita, Kansas, has been selected as the host city for the 2025 Midwest Plains Regional Championship. The annual event will be held July 23-27, 2025 at the Genesis Sports Complex west of Wichita in Goddard, with teams ranging from 8U to 16U.

The Midwestern Plains region includes: Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and the two Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan Chewan Province.
The game marked the first time the Babe Ruth League hosted a major game in Wichita and Kansas State. “Hosting the Babe Ruth League Midwest Plains Regional Championship is a major honor for Wichita,” said Josh Howell, vice president of sports development for the Wichita Visitors Bureau. “We are excited to welcome athletes, families, coaches and fans to Wichita, a city known for its central location in the heart of the country, hospitality and passion for sports.
