The Kia Syros interior has been unveiled for the first time, giving us a glimpse of its key features. The teaser video shows off the engine start/stop button, floating touchscreen infotainment system, center console, wireless phone charging pad, USB ports, and a steering wheel with the iconic logo in the center.

One can also notice the black instrument panel with a glowing blue line running its entire length. Additionally, the presence of a large panoramic sunroof was confirmed. The infotainment unit is likely to support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, navigation and connected car technology.

More details will be announced when it is officially unveiled on December 19, 2024. However, the new Kia compact SUV is expected to share its interior layout and features with the Sonet. It may also come with leatherette upholstery, fully digital instrument cluster, power ventilated front seats, parking sensors, 360-degree camera, hill hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, and rear disc brakes. Visually, the new Syros will stand out among existing Kia SUVs. It will have an upright and boxy stance with vertically stacked split LED headlights, tiger-nose grille, sporty bumpers, flush door handles, L-shaped LED taillights, four-spoke alloy wheels and Top stringers and other elements.
The engine setup of the Kia Syros is likely to include a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5L diesel engine. All models will come with FWD (front-wheel drive) drivetrain. The compact SUV will be available in manual and automatic transmission options.
In terms of pricing and positioning, the new Kia compact SUV will face competition from turbocharged petrol small SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 and Skoda Kylaq. It will also impact the sales of its sibling Sonet. Prices of the Syros are likely to start from Rs 6 lakh and go up to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
