Late Tuesday night, a white Kia Forte made an unforgettable (and completely uninvited) entry into the Inspira Wellness Center Bridgeton, New Jersey, to kick off 2025 with a bang. Police arrested April Love, a 38-year-old Delaware resident, for participating in a destructive joyride that ended with him being handcuffed and given a ticket to Cumberland One-way ticket to county jail.
Authorities reported that the Kia crashed through the hospital’s doors around 11:30 p.m., leaving behind a scene of chaos that no one among the medical staff had planned on their New Year’s resolutions.

Video shared on Facebook captured the aftermath of the driver’s rampage, revealing the trail of destruction she left in her wake. The Kia Forte not only broke through the hospital doors, but also hurtled approximately 60 feet down the hallway, leaving broken glass scattered on the floor and extensive damage to the walls. The short video even shows the Forte’s rear window being completely smashed, adding another layer of chaos to an already surreal scene.
Fortunately, no patients or hospital staff were injured in the chaos, although Forte did end the hospital’s hopes for a safe New Year’s Eve. according to atlantic city newspapera security guard was slightly injured after jumping out of the path of a car, a quick response that likely prevented a worse outcome.
The entrance damaged by the driver is normally used for ambulance drop-offs, and crews were forced to set up another entrance due to the damage. According to local media reports, the ambulance was not transferred until around 3:30 a.m. on January 1.
Police immediately arrested the woman and charged her with motor vehicle assault, endangerment and criminal mischief. According to a hospital spokesperson, they are still investigating the case.
