The modified M2 police car certainly looks the part, as its silver, blue and yellow livery features bold “Polizei” lettering, a roof-mounted siren, and additional LED lights to enhance its presence. . The M2 Polizei rides on a set of staggered AC Schnitzer AC4 forged wheels, measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, finished in Tech Gold. To enhance its stance, the AC Schnitzer RS ​​adjustable suspension lowers the vehicle by 25-35 mm (1-1.4 inches) while offering fully adjustable rebound and compression rates.

As you’d expect, the M2 gets the most powerful performance upgrades in AC Schnitzer’s catalog. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six now develops an even more impressive 553 hp (412 kW / 560 PS) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, an increase of 100 hp (74 kW) and 100 Nm. m (74 lb-ft heavier than the standard EU-spec M2). This extra power is combined with a sportier valve-controlled exhaust system featuring aggressive quad carbon fiber tailpipes, promising an even more powerful soundtrack.

Interior upgrades are limited to larger shift paddles, aluminum accents on the pedals, key fob and BMW iDrive controller, as well as AC Schnitzer embroidery on the headrests.

However, don’t expect to find police radios or specialized law enforcement equipment inside. After all, this is just a demo vehicle, and while it won’t be chasing criminals any time soon, the idea is certainly cool.

In addition to the eight editions of the initiative, other tuners such as TechArt and Abt Sportsline are also involved in police-themed projects.
