Yokohama India launches EMI program that will not become a premium tire:

Quick Overview

  • Yokohama India launches “Easy Drive” cost-free EMI program for premium tires.
  • The 6-month cost-free EMI is available for tires of 17 inches and above, starting at Rs 1,807 per month.
  • The partnership with Bajaj Finance Ltd. ensures a seamless buying experience.

With larger wheels becoming the norm for SUVs and premium cars, upgrading tires is more than just a luxury, and it’s a necessity. Yokohama India has launched an “Easy Drive” Cost-free EMI program to make premium tire replacements easier to access. The program was initiated in partnership with Bajaj Finance Ltd. (BFL) to allow buyers to separate their payments within six months without additional fees.

A wise move for premium tire buyers

Hyundai SUVs and sedans increasingly have larger wheels, requiring high-performance tires for better grip, comfort and durability. Recognizing this shift, Yokohama now offers EMI options within its 17-inch and above tire range. Monthly payments start at Rs 1,807 and premium tires are more affordable without upfront financial pressure.

The program covers Yokohama’s top tire range, including Advan, Geolandar and Bluearth. These tires are known for their performance in wet and dry conditions, off-road durability and fuel efficiency. Buyers can access this EMI facility at the Yokohama Club Network (YCN) Store (YCN) Store (YCN) Store in India.

Increased demand for larger tires

The passenger car market in India is rapidly turning to a premium. Now, 25% of new vehicles are now equipped with 17-inch or larger tires due to growing demand for SUVs and performance-oriented sedans. Models like the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Xuv700, Hyundai Tucson, and even mass-market sedans like the Skoda Slavia now have larger tire sizes. Yokohama’s move makes it easier for owners of these vehicles to replace or upgrade tires without breaking the bank.

The final thought

Tires don’t always get the attention they deserve – until you hit potholes or sharp corners too quickly. With Yokohama’s “Easy Driving” EMI program, the plan to upgrade to premium rubber has become easier. No longer postponing tire replacement or settlement budget alternatives. Now, the only thing that stops you from getting better grip and comfort is… absolutely not.
