It’s clearly a rival to the Volkswagen ID. The Buzz has a length of 4688 mm and a wheelbase of 3008 mm. Although the wheelbase is 19 mm longer, it is only 24 mm shorter than the German MRT.

Zeekr said the Mix has an interior height of 1,350 mm and is equipped with a removable center console that can be transformed into a lounge or even a private yoga room.

The company said its design was inspired by “thousands of warm homes” and the Tiangong Space Station. The shape is “round and thoughtful” with smooth edges.

Like the 007 sedan, there’s a customizable headlight bar.

The cabin is accessed through sliding doors on both sides, with a wide entrance measuring 1.48m wide.

Mix adopts a “hidden” double B-pillar design, with two ultra-high-strength steel pillars embedded in each door.

Zeekr said that thanks to the 390mm floor height, it is easy for young children and the elderly to get in and out of the Mix. Ground clearance is 165mm.

The rear seats have integrated leg rests, and there are footrests at the bottom of the front seats.

Rear-seat passengers also enjoy the same heating, ventilation and massage as front-seat passengers, while other standard features include a panoramic glass sunroof, matrix LED headlights, a 21-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos, center console Refrigerator and remote control parking function.

In front of the driver is an augmented reality head-up display, a 13-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen.

Mix uses Zeekr’s SEA-M architecture and is equipped with an 800V electrical system.

There is a choice of 76kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) or 102kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery packs.

The smaller of the two offers a range of 550 kilometers on the more relaxed CLTC cycle; when equipped with a larger battery, the range can reach more than 700 kilometers.

Zeekr said that thanks to the 5.5C ultra-fast charging capability, the LFP battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 10.5 minutes.

Mix features vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing you to power external devices. There is 220V AC power supply in the trunk.

Powering the Mix is a single electric motor with 310kW of power and 440Nm of torque, which can propel the people mover from standstill to 100km/h in 6.8 seconds.

It features MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension with frequency-adaptive dampers.

Mix’s suite of active safety and driver-assist technologies is supported by a sensor suite including lidar, high-definition cameras and millimeter-wave radar.

Safety features include front and rear cross-traffic assist, traffic sign recognition, traffic light alerts, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera and adaptive cruise control.

Mix joins the growing Zeekr product line-up, which includes not only the 009 people mover, but also the X and 7X SUVs, 001 hatchback and 007 sedan.

The X will be the brand’s Australian debut this year, while the 7X is confirmed for launch in 2025. 009 will also be screened here.
