Featured Automatic Hunteran online auction platform operated by ClassicCars.com, is auctioning this 2007 Shelby GT500 427 Super Snake, which commemorates Shelby’s sponsorship of NASCAR races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is powered by a 725-horsepower supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine, which sends power to the road through a TREMEC six-speed manual transmission. This Super Snake is finished in black with Shelby Tungsten tape stripes and a black and red leather interior, and comes from the selling dealer with a window sticker, build sheet, clean CARFAX report and clear title.
The black exterior features an optional Shelby Tungsten tape stripe in the middle. Features include a carbon fiber front splitter, fog lights, front and rear brake ducts, a vented fiberglass hood with hood pins, carbon fiber mirror caps, sail-fin air intakes, rear louvers, rear spoiler, and sequential taillights.
Under the flared fenders sit a set of 20-inch Shelby Alcoa wheels shod with 255/35 Pirelli P Zero tires up front and 275/35 Pirelli P Zero tires at the rear.
The cockpit features black and red leather seats with embroidery on the first-row headrests and color-coordinated door panels. It comes with a six-way power driver’s seat, a leather steering wheel, a sequentially numbered instrument panel plaque, an embroidered center console storage compartment lid, an AM/FM/MP3 Shaker audio system with a six-disc onboard CD player, a short-throw shifter and 427 Super Snake floor mats.
Primary vehicle information is displayed on the 160-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and boost pressure gauges. Auxiliary gauges on the instrument panel display boost, fuel, and oil pressure. The digital odometer reads 1,292 miles; the most recent number reported in CARFAX as of August 2024 is 1,297 miles.
Power is provided by a 5.4-liter V8 engine equipped with a cold air intake and a Kenne Bell supercharger, which increases output to 725 horsepower. The engine is coupled to a TREMEC six-speed manual transmission. The engine oil and oil filter were changed in August 2024, according to the selling dealer.
Suspension hardware includes Shelby/Eibach coilovers and stabilizer bars. Shelby/Baer brakes with red six-piston calipers bring this Super Snake to a stop. The engine sends output through a one-piece driveshaft and a 3.73:1 rear end. It exhausts through a Borla cat-back exhaust system with dual outlets.
The selling dealer noted minor wear to the seats and disclosed that a $499 dealer fee would be added to the sale price.
The CARFAX report, which dates from 2007, shows the car has had two owners in New York and Florida and has not been involved in any accidents.
