The 110cc commuter bike TVS Radeon from the local two-wheeler manufacturer has launched a new all-black color scheme. The new shade is limited to the entry-level model and is priced at Rs 59,880 (ex-showroom). With the launch of the new Radeon in black, the base model of the bike is priced at Rs 2,525. The model has metallic black paint on the headlight housing, armrests, rear shock absorbers, elbow pipes and exhaust pipes, with red and white graphics on the side panels. It has black one-piece seats.
The new black paint scheme joins the existing color palette, which includes Titanium Grey, Metallic Black, Starlight Blue, Royal Purple, dual-tone blue-black and dual-tone red-black. Similar to other color base versions, the new black model comes with a dual-pod analog instrument cluster that displays details like fuel gauge, odometer, speedometer, eco/power indicator, and more.
In terms of power, the TVS Radeon uses a 109.7cc, single-cylinder fuel-injected engine and a 4-speed gearbox. The motor can output a maximum power of 8.08PS at 7,350rpm and a torque of 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm. The bike rides on a single-cradle tubular frame and rides on 18-inch alloys shod with 70mm front and 76.2mm rear tubeless tyres.
The Radeon’s suspension setup consists of conventional telescopic forks at the front and 5-step preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. The commuter’s stopping power comes from 130 mm front drum brakes and 110 mm rear drum brakes. The Digi Disc model comes with a 240mm front disc brake. Radeon also comes standard with CBS (Combined Braking System).
