We recently took delivery of this Bentley Continental GT Coupe, which was fully painted and ceramic coated using Modesta, the best in ceramic protection. Since its launch 13 years ago, the Bentley Continental GT has evolved into the luxurious grand tourer you see today. This particular version boasts a twin-turbocharged V8 that produces a healthy 521 horsepower and enough torque to keep you firmly seated in the diamond stitched leather seats. The power is just right, the handling is tight and precise, and of course, we can’t forget the sleek and timeless beauty. It’s the little details that work together harmoniously that make this car truly great. So what do you do with a car like this when you can’t make it any better than when it left the factory? You just protect it and enjoy it.
Even if you buy a brand new car right off the dealership, most cars will have scratches and swirls on their paintwork from shipping and handling. These imperfections need to be removed through a process called paint correction. During correction, we assess the damage and carefully polish the paint using a variety of pads and products.
After the paint restoration was completed, the car received a Modesta BC-05 glass coating. BC-05 is unique in that it is the only ceramic coating that is applied using a wet process. This extremely thick and durable coating not only protects the paint, but also adds tremendous shine and makes future cleaning much easier.
Once the vehicle is painted, it is baked under heat lamps for more than two hours. This step ensures that each panel is heated to the proper temperature to cure the coating.
Next comes our favorite part. Once the car is painted, baked, and fully inspected, it’s time to pull it outside. This is when you really appreciate the time and effort that went into these jobs. The car turned out beautifully, and needless to say, our client was thrilled. Take a look at these after photos and let us know how we can help you with your next detail project.
