It is powered by a 351 Windsor V8 engine with a two-barrel carburetor, mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Painted in Medium Blue Metallic with a black luxury vinyl interior, this stylish Mustang comes from the seller with clear title.
The original Medium Blue Metallic paint was repainted during the Mustang’s restoration in 1998. Features include dual body-color racing mirrors, front antenna, rocker panel trim, and an unusual factory houndstooth vinyl headliner.
A set of 195/75 Sears Silent Response white-rimmed radial tires wrap around 14-inch wheels with brushed aluminum wheel covers.
The cabin is completed by the optional luxury interior, which includes high-back black vinyl front bucket seats. Other interior features include a center console with automatic shifter, simulated woodgrain trim, tilt steering wheel, clock and AM/FM stereo.
The dash has a 120 mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, alternator, and fuel level. The odometer shows 10,955 miles, but the seller says it could be 110,955.
The original engine in this Mustang was an upgrade from the base 302 V8, the “H-code” 351 two-chamber engine. Some Mustangs used the Cleveland series, but this one is the Windsor series. It has a three-speed automatic transmission. Features under the hood include air conditioning.
The chassis features a single exhaust system. A new fuel tank was installed in 2021.
