The Moscow Book Fair (MIBF) in Russia is the largest and most influential book trade fair in the Commonwealth of Independent States. The main objective is to promote trade in copyrighted books and protect intellectual property rights. To provide a platform for major domestic and foreign publishers, booksellers and distributors to discuss business.
Part of the MIBF is that copyright staff from various publishing houses will come to the exhibition to negotiate or choose to purchase copyrights of foreign editions and translated editions directly.
