AutoHunter Featured This 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible with 59,573 miles is one of 1,800 convertibles produced for that model year. It is powered by a 365ci V8 engine and dual four-cylinder engines, paired with a four-speed Hydra-matic automatic transmission. Finished in Olympic White with a black convertible top and black leather interior, this premium Caddy comes from the selling dealer and comes with 1994 restoration papers, receipts, owner’s manual, some extra parts and a clear title.

The Olympic White accent pairs perfectly with the black power convertible top. Other exterior features include rubber-tipped “Dagmar” bumpers, wraparound windshield, driver’s side mirror and chrome rear fender bodywork. The car allegedly received a cosmetic and mechanical facelift in the early 2000s.

A set of 15-inch polished aluminum Saber wheels are wrapped in 235/75 Coker Classic whitewall.

The cabin features black leather upholstery and six-way power front seats with armrests. Other features include a black and white two-spoke steering wheel with a full horn ring, Autotronic Eye, factory AM radio, power windows and steering, and more. An aftermarket CD player is connected to a remote speaker in the glove box and a CD changer in the trunk.

The instrument panel consists of a 120 mph speedometer, temperature and fuel gauges, and oil pressure and alternator warning lights. The odometer reads 59,573 miles and is believed to be original.

The 365ci V8 is factory rated at 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. This engine is optional on the conventional Cadillac but standard on the Eldorado. It features dual four-cylinders and a unique gold air cleaner and matching valve covers. The engine is backed by a four-speed Hydra-matic automatic transmission.

The chassis system consists of coil spring independent front suspension and leaf spring solid axle rear suspension. Power drum brakes are located on all four corners. A dual exhaust system exits the rear.

The auction for this 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible with 59,573 miles ended Thursday. October 31, 2024 12:00 noon (Pacific Daylight Time).
