Currently published in Car Hunter Network It’s this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe. Power comes from a GM Performance 350 V8 crate engine, mated to a TREMEC TKX five-speed manual transmission. Features include Vintage Air climate control, Billet Specialties V-Trac pulley system, four-wheel disc brakes, and more. This Chevy, finished in red with a silver and black cloth and vinyl interior, is being sold by the dealer with copies of service records and a clear title.
The body color is said to have been changed from black to red, and the rear quarter panels feature anodized aluminum panels with a shallow groove design. Gold badges are affixed to all four sides of the vehicle. Other features include dual chrome mirror housings, an antenna on the passenger-side front fender, and aftermarket taillights with Chevy bowtie-shaped “blue dot” lenses.
A set of American Racing five-spoke chrome wheels are wrapped with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.
The interior consists of black cloth over silver vinyl seats. The front seats are modified bucket seats but retain the original pattern. Other features include Vintage Air climate control, RetroSound AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, floor-mounted shifter and modified console.
The instrument panel features Dakota Digital instrumentation, including a 160-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The odometer currently reads 3,141 miles, reflecting the mileage since restoration.
The small-block engines used in 1957 were either 265 or 283, but this Chevy gets a GM Performance 350 V8 crate engine instead. It’s rated at 357 horsepower and 407 pound-feet of torque. That power is controlled by a TREMEC TKX five-speed manual transmission.
The chassis features Classic Performance Parts front suspension components, including ball-bearing idler arms. Other features include a Wilwood master cylinder, four-wheel disc brakes, and a dual exhaust system with 2.5-inch stainless steel pipes.
