Teams win championships by being better at the basics than other teams. Your company can win a trade show by mastering the basics!
If you and your team are truly committed to getting back to basics, you can achieve championship-level success!
So, what are the trade show basics? The basics are what counts! It’s not your booth layout or design, your giveaways, or anything like that. Those are important, but likely to stay the same from show to show.
The most basic thing is to do the show. Your staff. Push the show!
So there are 5 basics.
1. Decide on your metrics. You have to measure the right things! There is a difference between scanning badges or collecting business cards and getting qualified leads or writing orders!
2. Set SMART goals – specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. Listen to Episode 1

5. Create a Booth Flow – This is where the magic is. It’s orchestrating the customer’s journey through your booth. It works even if you have a tabletop display and you’re working alone!
As an attendee, can you imagine yourself moving between booths? Probably not. It’s not common! The flow of booths is the deciding factor! Listen to Episode 4 Learn all about Booth Flow and how it can make a difference at your next trade show.
