this Mahindra XUV 3XO It has undergone the latest Bharat New Car Assessment Program (BNCAP) crash test and received a perfect safety rating. The subcompact SUV scored 29.36 points (out of 32 points) for adult occupant protection and 43 points (out of 49 points) for child occupant protection. MX2 and AX7 L models are crash-tested by safety regulators and feature six airbags (front, side head curtain, side thorax and side pelvis) as well as seat belt pretensioners, seat belt load limiters, electronic stability control, pedestrian Airbag protection and seat belt reminder.
Mahindra XUV 3XO scored 13.36 out of 16 points in the front-offset deformable barrier test and 16 out of 16 points in the side movable deformable barrier test. Its dynamic, CRS installation and vehicle evaluation scores are 24 points (out of 24 points), 12 points (out of 12 points) and 7 points (out of 13 points) respectively.
Safety has always been one of the strengths of the XUV 3XO compact SUV. Its standard safety kit includes six airbags, electronic stability control, seatbelt reminders for all passengers and three-point seatbelts for all passengers. The high-end AX7 L model comes with unique features including Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera with blind vision monitor, electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, leatherette on dashboard and door trim, leatherette upholstery, LED front fog lights, 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, front parking sensors, 65W USB-C fast charger, Harman Kardon sound system and panoramic sunroof.
In terms of powertrain, Mahindra XUV 3XO offers a 111-horsepower 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, a 131-horsepower 1.2-liter TGDi turbo-petrol engine, and a 117-horsepower 1.5-liter diesel engine. Both the petrol engines come mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, while the diesel engine comes mated to a 6-speed AMT gearbox. A manual gearbox is standard across the entire model range.
