Ferrari is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the Middle East and to mark the occasion, Ferrari launched six special 296 GTBs for each of the six Gulf states at an event in Abu Dhabi.
While we suspect some local buyers would have preferred to see Ferrari launch a special version of the faster, more powerful SF90 Stradale, the Italian marque quietly retired the car a few months ago, meaning the SF90 Spider and 296 GTB/GTS are The brand’s only mid-size car-engined supercar, alongside the new flagship F80 hybrid supercar.

Each of the six 296 GTBs on display in the UAE is finished in Arabian Gold Gloss (aka Bronze), which contrasts with several different body colours. Perhaps the most intriguing of them all is the metallic green example built for Saudi Arabia. Designed specifically for the UAE, the 296 GTB is finished in Pearl White and like the other models, it rides on a set of gold wheels and has unique text engraved on the bonnet.
The one heading to Oman was a metallic blue 296 GTB, while the one heading to Qatar was a vehicle painted dark maroon. A one-off metallic black car was built exclusively for Bahrain, while the golden brown car was built for Kuwait.

The car’s interior received some custom touches. All cabins are finished in beige Honolulu leather with gold metallic leather trim, diamond-stitched seats and gold-threaded Prancing Horse logo on the headrests. The leather-upholstered front luggage compartment adds to the car’s luxurious feel.
Ferrari has not revealed whether these special one-off cars will be sold to private customers or if the company’s local division will own them.
