  • Mitsubishi has announced plans to launch the 2025 Outlander in the United States on February 24.
  • Updated interior features include a redesigned center console, new colors and Yamaha audio.
  • The facelifted crossover will feature subtle styling changes and improved suspension.

Mitsubishi unveiled the Outlander facelift in October, and now the company has announced that the crossover will make its U.S. debut on February 24. Deliveries will begin shortly thereafter.

While we already know what to expect, Mitsubishi has been coy about the specifics. As part of this effort, they released three slightly modified images of the interior. It’s instantly recognizable, but has an updated center console and repositioned cup holders.

Buyers will also find new interior colors and “upgraded features.” A Yamaha audio system will also be added, as will Mitsubishi’s first-ever SiriusXM 360L satellite streaming service. The company went on to say that we can expect improved styling and improved driving dynamics.

We’ll know full details early next year, but US-spec models should mirror the European versions. This means we can expect a slightly revised grille, updated lighting fixtures, and a revised color palette. They should also include revised bumpers, more comfortable seats and NVH improvements.

Bigger changes should come as the plug-in hybrid model has a larger 22.7 kWh battery pack as well as a larger fuel tank. We can also expect revised suspension, new tires, and an increased output of 302 hp (225 kW / 306 hp).

The 2024 Outlander starts at $28,395 and is the brand’s best-selling model in the United States. The company sold 11,138 vehicles in the third quarter, along with an additional 2,279 plug-in hybrid vehicles. Speaking of PHEV variants, it looks like the updated version won’t be available in the U.S. until 2026.
