Porsche Cayenne S facelift gets wild aerodynamics and power

The latest Porsche Cayenne has been praised for its handling and performance, but some owners may find its looks a little understated. German tuner TechArt has an option for those who want an eye-catching body kit that can be combined with a more powerful sound and some extra horsepower.

TechArt is no stranger to the Cayenne, as it has been offering tuning kits for the popular Porsche SUV for years. Its latest offering has been upgraded to be compatible with the facelifted third-generation model, and is available in both standard and coupe SUV bodies.

The new body kit includes a noticeable extension of the front bumper, combined with air intake trim and a full carbon fiber hood. This setup brings the Cayenne closer to the Lamborghini Urus in terms of visual impact, although the oversized splitter won’t be for everyone.

From the side, TechArt offers a range of wheel options, starting at 21 inches, paired with sharper side skirts. At the rear, the Cayenne Coupe gets a prominent roof wing and an extended adaptive spoiler, while the standard Cayenne gets a double carbon fiber spoiler. Both models get a rear bumper with an additional wing and a larger diffuser.

Interior options include Alcantara and leather upholstery with customizable colored stitching and carbon fiber trim. While TechArt doesn’t offer chassis upgrades, they claim the new body kit enhances “balanced aerodynamics at any speed.”

What’s more, TechArt’s performance kit boosts the Cayenne S’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 by 89 hp (66 kW / 90 PS) and 120 Nm (88.5 lb-ft), bringing output to 557 hp (415 kW / 564 PS) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft), surpassing the GTS.

Additionally, owners who want to enhance the sound of their SUV can consider TechArt’s sports exhaust system, which can be paired with the standard exhaust or upgraded carbon fiber or titanium exhaust tips.
