Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition Visits Jay
The Lamborghini Countach is a car Jay Leno knows this all too well. He owns a 1987 car that he's owned since new, and in nearly four decades, he's put more than 70,000 miles on it. For someone with a car collection as large as Leno's, that's pretty impressive. Leno has now revealed a Countach 25th Anniversary Edition in the latest episode of its web series Jay Leno's Garage. The car is a 1989 model and is painted red, similar to Leno's Countach, with a black interior. The Countach 25th Anniversary Edition was launched in 1988 to commemorate Lamborghini's 25th anniversary, and a total of 658 units were produced. It was distinguished from the earlier Countach Quattrovalvole (QV) owned by Leno by unique front and side spoilers and revised vents, some of which were designed by Pagani CEO and founder Horacio Pagani, who was working at Lamborghini at the time.
