Bajaj Auto has launched the latest version of its electric scooter, Chetak, which has been in the Indian market since 2020. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has launched the new Chetak 3501, 3502 and 3503 models under its '35 Series'. The Chetak 3502 model is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh. On the other hand, the 3501 retails at Rs 1.27 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru. Pricing for the 3503 model will be announced at a later date. Bajaj Auto’s total sales grew 5% year-on-year in 2017

Bajaj Auto sold 368,000 2W units in November 2024, up 5% from 349,000 units in the previous year. Although domestic sales fell by 7% to 204,000 vehicles, exports increased by 26% year-on-year to 164,000 vehicles. Exports in the commercial sector have also increased compared to domestic sales. Bajaj Auto's local supply was 37,243 units, down 5%. Overseas shipments were 16,321 units, a year-on-year increase of 10%. Total sales fell slightly by 1% to 53,564 units. In terms of total sales (2W and CV), Bajaj’s sales in the domestic market were 241,000 units, a decrease of 7% from the previous year. Bajaj Auto recently launched the Chetak Blue 3202 electric scooter, which will be available via Flipkart soon. Previously, the company launched the Chetak 3201 in early August 2024, a special edition model with a range of 136 km - similar to the newly launched 3202. Speaking of the latter, the new Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 has a range of 137 km, thanks to a new battery that increases the scooter's range from 126 km. However, the battery capacity of the 3202 is the same as the current Chetak Premium, which is 3.2kWh. The Chetak Blue 3202 is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), which is around Rs 8,000 cheaper than the Urbane variant. Upgrading to Tecpac costs extra, just like other Chetak variants.
