1966 Chevrolet C10 Flatbed Truck
There's something there The automotive industry is a gap that companies have been trying to fill. Yes, they like to fill their order books and dealers with new models, but that's not what I mean. I'm talking about white space, the area that exists between two models. The BMW X6 is a great example of this, as it fills the gap between a coupe and a traditional SUV. Our Pick of the Day is a dealer-listed 1966 Chevrolet C10 flatbed truck on ClassicCars.com that fills the gap between a pickup truck and a traditional van. According to a 1966 brochure, Chevrolet offered 11 Step-Vans in 21 different body sizes. But customers don't have to default to a standard pickup truck if the style or size isn't right. They could buy something in the space between the two: a panel truck. The car is painted in an attractive combination of Lemonwood Cream and Ebony Tan, drawing attention to the enclosed cargo…
Australia’s 10 cheapest new V8-powered cars
There was a time when the roar of eight-cylinder engines could be heard across Australia. In particular, a pair of quintessential Australian V8s dominate our roads: the Ford Falcon and the Holden Commodore. But those days are gone, and both of the above models no longer exist. Instead, the Australian car market is now dominated by SUVs and pickup trucks, which feature low-displacement turbocharged powertrains with six cylinders or less. While this won't bother many people (and it certainly hasn't stopped us from flocking to buy new cars), some enthusiast buyers still crave V8 power. Hundreds of new car deals are now available through CarExpert. Get the experts on your side and get big rewards. Browse now. Ford MustangChevrolet Silverado 1500BMW X6Chevrolet Corvette The bad news is that by 2024, affordable V8 vehicles will be hard to come by. Diego’s AutoHunter Picks
if i watch onlineI noticed a lot of people praising the virtues of 1960s styling and design. While the decade was strong, I don't think it compares to the 1930s, which gave us several custom designs that led the way in automotive values (with the exception of a few race cars). Still, in my corrupt mind, the 1960s were strong not just in styling, but in the overall package. Typically this means performance, but it doesn't necessarily have to be. Do you think the AutoHunter picks below represent the highlights of the 1960s well? 1969 Pontiac GTO convertibleDo you prefer the 1968 one or the 1969 one? Curious to know! I'm indifferent to the taillights, although I think the 1968 grille might have had a slight edge (especially the exposed headlights). The '69's parking lights are better, but I prefer the '68's dash. Plus, the Hurst Dual/Gate was much cooler than what Pontiac was developing for '69. Regardless, this 1969…

AutoHunter Spotlight: 1962 Chevrolet Impala
If a photo is worth it A thousand words, is a video worth ten times that number? The quality of media a seller provides when listing a vehicle for sale can vary widely, which is important when buyers and sellers are often multiple states apart conducting unseen business. I highly recommend you put on a good pair of headphones and watch this driving demonstration video of this muscle machine: The 55,000-mile 1962 Chevrolet Impala hardtop featured on AutoHunter is being sold by a dealer in Ross, Ohio, and the auction ends Monday. The car sounds incredible when accelerating; the selling dealer demonstrated how the exhaust system can change intensity with the flip of a switch. This functionality is provided by a custom Flowmaster dual exhaust system with QTP electric switches. I call this aggressive setup "Beast Mode." The full-size Impala flagship model's origins date back to 1958. Its name originated from the African antelope and was first mentioned at the…
AutoHunter Spotlight: 1967 Chevrolet Nova Hardtop
Chevrolet Nova Located in an interesting spot in the world of collectible cars. Novas aren't as desirable as Chevelles, nor as valuable as Olds Cutlass or Buick Skylark, but their capabilities are very similar to those cars' capabilities. They're just as fun to drive and easy to maintain, but cost a lot less. They are what my Nova-loving friends call the "bread and butter" American collector cars. This 1967 Chevrolet Nova appears on AutoHunter, an online auction platform operated by ClassicCars.com. The seller describes this 1967 Chevrolet Nova as a fully restored two-door hardtop powered by a 327ci V8 engine and four-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in blue with a black vinyl top covering a black vinyl interior. During this car's restoration, it received some welcome upgrades, including a rebuilt engine and new parts like a high-lift cam, Weiand aluminum intake manifold, Demon four-barrel carburetor, gear-driven timing systems, aluminum radiators and aluminum and chrome cosmetic items. The car…
Another Chevrolet Bolt battery fire recall
Chevrolet Bolt battery fires require recall of 110 vehicles through 2021. November 6, 2024 — After years of action by General Motors, Chevrolet Bolt battery fires remain a problem. This is evidenced by the latest recall of approximately 110 Bolt EV and Bolt EUV vehicles, which were previously recalled in August 2021. The recall involves the 2020-2022 Chevrolet Bolt, whose batteries may catch fire due to failure to install diagnostic software. GM says the Bolt can catch fire when the battery is near or fully charged. For these Chevrolet Bolt owners, it's back to the charging process. “Set a target charge level feature in the vehicle to limit the charge level to 90%, charge the vehicle more frequently to avoid draining the battery to the remaining 70 miles of range, park the vehicle outside after charging, and do not charge the vehicle indoors Leave the vehicle charged overnight.” Chevrolet Bolt battery fire recall letters will be mailed out on December…
1996 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Sedan
Chevrolet Caprice classic In the 1990s, it was the vehicle of choice for taxi services and police forces, so much so that it's hard to imagine there are vehicles out there that haven't been in crashes or beyond repair. Luckily, Chevrolet also makes them for private consumers, including our daily pick, a 1996 Caprice Classic sedan. In the early to mid-1990s, General Motors introduced a variety of V8-powered, full-size, non-cargo vehicles with graceful body lines. You could buy the luxurious Cadillac Fleetwood sedan, the sporty Chevrolet Impala SS sedan or the roomy Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser station wagon (1991 and 1992 only). The upscale Buick Roadmaster and the practical Chevrolet Caprice Classic are available in sedan and wagon form. Unlike its siblings, this 1996 Caprice Classic leads an easy life. It has traveled only 19,857 miles over the past 28 years. This use of light is expressed in an attractive (and appropriately named) dark greenish-grey metallic finish. According to the selling…
Daily Pick: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
“Hotter than Texas chili” says a magazine ad for the Chevrolet Camaro. Chevrolet continued: "What's so great about the Z28? Everything. Styling, performance, comfort." Might want to buy this and find out: Today's Pick is a 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for sale on ClassicCars.com from a private seller in Scottsdale, Arizona. (Click the link to view the list) "Without a doubt, it is one of the best Z28 Camaro convertibles of its time," the listing reads. "The car is very impressive both inside and out, And all in colors befitting a performance car. GM finds another fire risk in ‘fixed’ Chevrolet bolts
The diagnostic software on some Bolt models is installed incorrectly and may not function as designed. GM urges owners not to charge their Bolt beyond 90% state of charge. We also encourage owners not to keep their electric vehicles with a range below 70 miles. The next generation Chevrolet Bolt is almost here, but General Motors can't seem to escape the shadow of the model's troubled past. The automaker just recalled old Bolts again, a reminder that the troubles with its early electric vehicle experiments are far from over. var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== "DESKTOP") { adpushup.triggerAd("4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a"); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd("6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657"); You'll no doubt remember that three years ago, General Motors recalled more than 140,000 Bolts in the United States because they posed a risk of catching fire. The issue can be traced to an issue with the battery pack, which comes from LG. Now, General Motors has revealed that some 2020-2022…
1974 Chevrolet Blazer 4X4 4-speed
I drive one of them Chevrolet has resurrected the legendary nameplate for the 2019 model year with the all-new Blazer. It's an attractive crossover that offers plenty of power and a pleasant ride quality. I don't have a problem with it in its modern form, but others do. Whenever the new Blazer comes up in conversation, the inevitable response from the people I talk to is always this: "They should bring it back as an off-road vehicle like the old one." If you feel the same way, check us out 's Daily Pick, this is a 1974 Chevrolet Blazer 4X4 listed by a ClassicCars.com dealer. It has all the boxy, rugged charm that the Trail Blazers were previously known for, plus some notable advantages. The "square body" comes from one of the few models Chevrolet offers for the Blazer, which features a removable fiberglass hardtop that covers the front and rear seats as well as the cargo area. Before the…

AutoHunter Spotlight: 1987 Chevrolet Half-Ton Pickup
if you haven't It's worth noting that "square" car design is making a comeback. Just look at the new Hyundai Santa Fe. Starting in 2024, the formerly round crossover gets a striking new design that actually achieves a better drag coefficient than the outgoing model despite its boxier shape. How did they do it? No mention of boxy vehicles would be complete without talking about General Motors' boxy pickup trucks, produced from 1973 to 1987. Here's a great case study from us: AutoHunter Featured This customized 1987 Chevrolet 1/2-ton pickup truck is being sold by a dealership in Shawnee, Oklahoma, with the auction ending Thursday. This is no ordinary square body. About 5,000 miles ago, the truck received a cosmetic overhaul: most notably, the original red paint was replaced with a new coat of white. Special extras include bedspreads, Craftec tilt bedspreads, chrome mirrors and stainless steel accents. 20-inch Showtime Billet wheels are shod with 335-wide Michelin Pilot Super Sport…
Pick of the Day: 1959 Fuel-Injected Chevrolet Impala
what is classic A 1950s Chevrolet? Most would say one of the Tri-Fives, the 1955 model is probably the purest version of the series, perhaps in Nomad form. Others may point out that the finny '57 has fuel injection and therefore should be a Top Dog. With that, I recommend our Daily Pick as the most classic bowtie of the 1950s, this 1959 Chevrolet Impala fuel-injected convertible. It is currently for sale on ClassicCars.com from a dealer in Chatsworth, California. (Click the link to view the list) Everyone knows the story of Chevrolet and Chrysler in the 1950s, but let's recap it to increase my word count: Chevrolet went from an obscure reputation in 1955 to something completely different. From a car for librarians to a performance brand, Chevrolet deserves the same praise, but a few years earlier. The 1955 Chevrolet embodied the best of Harley Earl's styling studio in America's popular low-price brand, combined with the fine engineering of…
AutoHunter Spotlight: 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Sedan
Chevrolet Corvair is, In my opinion, this is an amazing car, especially for an American car made in the 1960s. Created under the management of Ed Cole and designed by Bill Mitchell, it was unlike any car produced by the Big Three American car companies. The Corvair features a rear-mounted aluminum inline 6-cylinder engine, four-wheel independent suspension, and a unitized body structure. GM took these ideas from European small cars and spent millions of dollars designing the car. The launch of the car brought great success to the brand and earned it accolades. It appeared on the cover of Time magazine and was named Motor Trend's 1960 Car of the Year. A few years later this book Not safe at any speed Great pains are taken to demonize the Corvair, but much of the book is absolute nonsense. The Corvair is a fun, sporty car with a great owner community and parts that are not only available but affordable. These…
Pick of the Day: 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
this Daily Picks is a 1996 Chevrolet Corvette coupe listed on ClassicCars.com by a Missouri dealer. Whenever I see the letters NCRS (National Corvette Restoration Society), I automatically think of a well-preserved C1 or a restored C3. It's hard to believe that this organization also judges C4 Corvettes, but the reality is that the latest fourth-generation Corvettes, like this 1996 coupe, are nearly 30 years old. The 1996 model year was significant in Corvette history. It marked the end of the C4, which Chevrolet celebrated in more ways than one. It still offers the 300-horsepower LT1 V8, but also released a high-performance 5.7-liter V8 called the LT4. It produces 330 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque and is standard equipment on the Grand Sport, a model name that returns after more than 30 years of absence and is only available in 1996 Collector's Edition models and regular Vette models with the six-cylinder engine. - Speed manual transmission. By the time…
The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV gets rambunctious and is now driveable
Silverado EV RST gets a new Sidewinder mode that allows the truck to drive diagonally at low speeds. The new driving mode is essentially Chevy's version of GMC's CrabWalk. Sidewinder mode is standard on 2025 RST, but will be added to the 2024 first version RST as part of an over-the-air update. Chevrolet unveiled the 2025 Silverado EV last month, and now they're getting grumpy, in a good way. They took a page from GMC's playbook and decided to add their own version of Hummer's famous CrabWalk. var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== "DESKTOP") { adpushup.triggerAd("4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a"); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd(" 6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657"); } }); The new driving mode, called "Sidewinder" in bow-tie lingo, is enabled via the infotainment system and allows all four wheels to turn in the same direction. This allows the electric pickup to drive diagonally at speeds of up to 20 mph (32 km/h). More: Chevrolet expands 2025 Silverado EV lineup…

This particular Chevrolet is called the Suburban Shield, and from the outside, it looks like any…
Diego’s AutoHunter Picks | ClassicCars.com Magazine
there was a time There was a time when there was no respect for the flaws of age in the old car hobby, but today you get reviled for ruining the patina of an old car or whatnot. The archeology appreciated by experts and restorers does not always exist. This week's AutoHunter pick only has one vehicle with original paint, but it's worth mentioning for those who pay attention to these things. There's also a classic Mopar muscle car, a fun camper van and a lightly customized '50s Ford. Which one would you buy for your winter projects? 1968 Plymouth GTXDo you prefer the 1968 GTX or the 1969 GTX? I go back and forth on this issue. Of course, 1969 was a more refined year for marketing, equipment, and styling, but I really liked the stripes and nearly full-width taillights of 1968. 1968 was also the best-selling year for the GTX, with approximately 19,000 units sold. This 1968 GTX…
Pick of the Day: 1958 Chevrolet Apache
There are two extremes Speaking of classic vehicles: On one end of the spectrum are those that have never been driven and have been stored forever in a climate-controlled garage; on the other are vehicles that have been heavily used and driven to the point of cosmetic rot, if not outright mechanical failure. Fortunately, there's a middle ground that allows classics to be unleashed without being completely destroyed. Our Pick of the Day - a 1958 Chevrolet Apache listed on ClassicCars.com by a private seller roams here. The Chevrolet Task Force truck line was introduced in 1955 and updated in 1958 with new names: Apache for light duty, Viking for medium duty, and Spartan for heavy duty. The Apache gets updates like a new grille, sheet metal, quad headlights, and interior trim. Former Chevrolet general manager Jim Perkins said the seller of the '58 Series 32 calls it a "P&A (parts and accessories) demo car." This explains its front bumper…
AutoHunter Spotlight: 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
The C3 Corvette still exists My favorite generation of "American sports cars". Yes, I know every car before it was more valuable, and reviews of C3 cars tend to be less positive, but when I think of what a Corvette looks like, the C3 is what I picture in my mind. In fact, the C3 Corvette's styling was so good that it even influenced the C4, C5 and C6 models. If you doubt that, ask Ed Welburn, GM's former vice president of global design, and he'll put you right. This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette coupe featured on AutoHunter is considered by many to be the C3's best year. This 1969 Corvette is described as having a 454ci V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. It's finished in Daytona Yellow over black vinyl interior and is now available from the selling dealer with a clear title. Daytona Yellow is the original color of this car. You can tell by looking at…

AutoHunter Spotlight: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
"A word or two "Get in the race," one magazine ad said of the 1969 Camaro. "You lost." Some 55 years later, the muscle cars of the late 1960s are still thrilling, neck-breaking, and rubber-burning. They have a timeless appeal. So when I saw this clean Z/28 popping up for sale, I knew I had to compete with our muscle car guru Diego Rosenberg for who could write about it. I struck preemptively—but only barely. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 appeared on AutoHunter, an online auction platform operated by ClassicCars.com. The car is being sold by a private seller in Langley, British Columbia, and the auction will end on Tuesday. The first-generation Camaro went on sale in the fall of 1966 and changed the automotive landscape forever. Finally, Ford's popular pony car has met a rival—and it's been a rivalry that's been going on for decades. One particularly capable fighter from Chevrolet's side is the Camaro Z/28, a car that…
Invention Requirements: Essential Functions for Modern Cars
when i grow upmy parents only buy used cars. They are usually in good condition, but since they are older models, they do not have the latest features and technology. I never really knew the difference, so I'm not complaining. My first car was a Toyota Cressida sedan that I had for several years. When it was passed to me, it was already 16 years old (although it did have a hardwired cell phone from the 90s in it). Before I started reviewing media vehicles, I was happy with the cars I knew about. They don't have touch screens, massage seats or scent systems, but I felt fine. The most high-tech thing I've ever gotten was buying a standalone Garmin GPS unit for my Acura Integra LS sedan. But once I started reviewing brand new vehicles, I became more aware of what the modern car market is capable of. Many of the features, like the high-end sound system, power rear…

Pick of the Day: 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air
key ingredient in any substance A good "restomod recipe" is the engine. All we can say is that this car is the most Delicious Builds I've seen in a while: The Pick of the Day is a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air listed for sale on ClassicCars.com by a private seller in Russellville, Missouri. (Click the link to see the list) Sure, the paint job is eye-catching, but pop the hood, because that's the real eye candy. Power comes from the Corvette's fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine, mated to a four-speed 4L60E automatic transmission. The good stuff doesn't stop there. The car also gets upgraded performance headers, a dual exhaust system and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The '55 Chevrolet took the automotive world by storm with its new styling, and the '56 took it a step further with a new grille, curved side moldings, and revised taillights. "Nothing climbs like a '56 Chevy, without wings," the ad says.…
Diego’s AutoHunter Picks
there are many The current listings on AutoHunter are all great cars, but I happened to pick out 4 GM products from the 1960s. I never want to be accused of favoring one company over another, but I understand that people at Mopar can be sensitive sometimes. Three of the AutoHunter Picks lean toward the muscle car side; the fourth—an unexpected choice—is pure luxury, 1968 style. Each allows you to wear a different hat. Which hat would you like to wear today? 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28Generally speaking, I prefer midsize muscle cars to pony cars, so the Camaro was never on my radar as a kid. No amount of COPO or Z/28 can attract this budding enthusiast! My opinion has changed a bit as I've gotten older, especially the Z/28, which has a completely different driving experience than the big cars - it's almost like an American car for Alfa enthusiasts. Being Rallye Green is a plus for this 1969…
Pick of the Day: 1963 Chevrolet C10 Stepside
this Daily Picks It is a 1963 Chevrolet C10 Stepside pickup truck listed by an Ohio dealer on ClassicCars.com. I can't speak for any of you, but I know I get into phases when it comes to certain vehicles. Lately, I've been obsessed with vintage Chevy trucks. When I was looking at the listings for Barrett-Jackson's 2023 Scottsdale Fall Auction, I saw a beautiful blue 1972 Chevrolet C10 Stepside with the original I6 engine and transmission. Since then, I've been looking for other cool C10s on ClassicCars.com. As you can see, I found another one. This first generation C/K series pickup truck was given a new life through a frame-on restoration. As part of the process, the frame is powder coated. Surrounding hardware like the suspension and brake components were upgraded so the truck now rides on a total cost suspension and stops with the help of Wilwood power disc brakes. The exterior has been refreshed in an unusual but…

2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 top speed 233 mph
"Oh my god, this is so fast!" When four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon talks about your latest machine, you know you're doing something right as a performance car manufacturer. Those were the words that came out of Gordon's mouth as he watched the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 speed past him as it accelerated to 233 mph. Photo Credit: Chevrolet As automakers tend to do, Chevrolet under-promised when it released preliminary numbers for the C8 version of the ZR1 in July. Its DOHC 5.5-liter V8 (aka LT7) features a flat-plane crankshaft and twin turbochargers that help it pump out 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque. "The Corvette ZR1 has a top speed of over 215 mph on the track and runs the quarter mile in what GM estimates is less than 10 seconds." Boy, does it over-deliver. Chevrolet recently took the ZR1 to the high-speed oval track at ATP Car Testing in Papenburg, Germany, and achieved a two-way…

Diego’s AutoHunter Picks
red is my favorite Color, but I don't like red cars. I prefer red prune. For example, my dream Dodge Charger is a 1969 R/T, white with red bumblebee stripes and interior. Does it make sense? Still, I can't help myself, these AutoHunter Picks are all one color variant. They all touch different parts of my life: youth, fantasy, adulthood and late modeling. Which one lifts your skirt? 2011 Cadillac CTS-V CoupeAt the time, it was my American car of choice. My friend Ken thinks this is the best looking Cadillac ever built. I'd bet that cooler heads would prevail for both of us today, but the CTS Coupe remains a strong design that strikes a balance between perfection and polarization, just like the Ram trucks of the 1990s. Make it a CTS-V, and this Caddy is a car that can compete with Germany's best. This 2011 CTS-V Coupe is one of approximately 3,224 vehicles produced that year. Of course,…
Chevrolet thinks it’s fixed door-opening issues on Blazer and Equinox
GM believes it has removed all defective door latches, but some inventory is being held in a warehouse in Mexico go through Brad Anderson October 16, 2024 19:52 Chevrolet has recalled 2025 Blazer and Equinox electric vehicles due to a defective door component. Weak door latches may break, potentially causing the door to open unexpectedly while driving. General Motors initially recalled multiple vehicles in December 2023 due to the same fault, but has now expanded the recall. Hundreds of 2025 Chevrolet Blazer, Blazer EV and Equinox EV models are being recalled across the United States due to a serious safety issue: doors may open unexpectedly while driving or in a collision. It's safe to say that opening a car door during your commute isn't a feature anyone requested. Good news? GM reports that the vehicles have not yet left dealerships. General Motors has confirmed that the vehicles in question were equipped with door striker pins from Brano Group AS that…

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427
this Daily Picks is a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe listed by an Indiana dealer on ClassicCars.com. Whenever you decide to buy a performance car, you start going downhill. Before purchasing a 2008 Ford Mustang in 2022, my logic was that if I was going to spend time researching the Mustang and test driving it, and then take out a loan to buy one, I might as well buy a V8. This made me buy not just any V8 model, but a Bullitt. This 1969 Corvette might lead you down a similar path. Why buy a C3 Corvette when you can get a big 427 like this? The selling dealer didn't provide much information about the car beyond the basics, but it covers a lot. The rest is obvious. The curvaceous coupe comes from the second model year of the third-generation Corvette. Judging from the colors and available palette of '69 Vettes, this appears to be finished in a nice…
Random car trivia to kill time
We at The ClassicCars.com The Journal is currently bringing you highlights from the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction, as well as our usual AutoHunter and ClassicCars.com articles. So, at this moment, how about we listen to some random car trivia? You can surprise your friends, or post it on social media and see if anyone gets surprised and angry - yes, that seems to be an unfortunate byproduct of discussing cars online. This 1969 Ford Cobra comes with hubcaps without trim rings. Hubcaps and wheel coversI used to use these two interchangeably, but they are not the same thing. Note that this hubcap covers the entire wheel, hence the name "wheel cap." If you think about it, it's simple: a wheel cap covers the entire wheel, whereas a hubcap may only cover the hub. A "poverty cap" is a hubcap, but a full wheel disc (pictured above) is a wheel cover. Rally II with decorative ring Rally II without trim ring…
Chevrolet Bolt will return in 2025, becoming part of the family
GM President Mark Reuss says this new version of the Bolt will be better, but won't be much more expensive General Motors will resume production of the Bolt EV for the 2026 model year. If all goes well, it will actually arrive in dealerships in 2025. It's expected to cost slightly more than the outgoing version, but also offer more range. The Chevrolet Bolt will return to production next year as a 2026 model, and GM plans to capitalize on the model. GM President Mark Reuss shared an update at GM's Investor Day, saying that while it won't be built on a platform that's not now called Ultium, it will still offer some new features. The meeting was held in Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Royce immediately highlighted Bolt. For one thing, he said, pricing is "only slightly higher than the 2023 Bolt." That's good news, because Chevrolet's cheapest electric car right now is the Equinox EV, which costs $34,995. Pricing…
This C3 Chevrolet Corvette is identified as a C7
'Vette' sellers admit they 'don't know much about cars' go through Brad Anderson October 11, 2024 19:12 The wild 1980 Chevrolet Corvette was powered by a small-block 350 cubic inch V8 engine. Several parts were removed from the C7 Corvette, but none fit the C3 design. Luckily, this C3 is cheap enough to serve as the basis for a great work truck. We've seen truly problematic Chevrolet Corvettes over the years, but this 1980 model might just be one of the more controversial models we've come across. If for some strange reason this 'Vette appeals to you, you have the chance to purchase it on Facebook Marketplace. This Corvette has been listed for sale in Bunker Hill, West Virginia, with an asking price of $8,000 "or best offer." There is no information on whether it is actually running, and the ownership history remains a mystery. However, photos show it has undergone some highly questionable modifications, including the addition of parts…
Daily Pick: 1965 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside
Just something about A lowered, single-cab, short-bed pickup truck. Correction: A few things. Even though it's not a behemoth with a double-digit lift, huge wheels, and earth-ripping tires, it still has a presence. If it were modified with a generous budget it would have go match that exhibit. Our latest Daily Pick, this LS3-powered 1965 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside listed on ClassicCars.com, has both. In 1965, the Chevrolet C10 was offered with a variety of engines, including a 230ci inline-six and a 283ci V8 with 145 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque (both net). Of course, it would be nice if this truck still had the original (and slightly upgraded) engine, but whoever replaces it has opted for a worthy successor: an LS3 6.2-liter with polished parts V8 engine. If you look around the engine bay, you'll see other notable components such as the power steering fluid reservoir, body-color brake booster, and dual-circuit master cylinder (for some slow to control that…

The greatest frigate of all time
Since 1953, the Chevrolet Corvette Earned the title of America's sports car. But now, eight generations in, it's more than just a sports car. With its mid-engine design and various wild powertrains, the Corvette is now an American exotic that performs like a supercar but costs a lot less. Full of scoops, vents, and wings, it's overly bold in an American way, but it also has the merch to back up its looks. The Corvette wasn't that confident at first. It's a six-cylinder convertible that favors style over performance. It set the design benchmark for the second-generation model while also adding performance variants that are now highly regarded but had little power during the doldrums of the 1970s. The C4 Corvette marks a return to performance, albeit perhaps without the best build quality. The C5, C6 and C7 Corvettes all evolved a common design into the best-performing front-engine cars GM has ever built. But that wasn't enough, prompting the C8…
