November 17, 2024 — General Motors has recalled more than 85,000 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans that may suffer from various problems related to the transmission control module software. The recalled 2022-2023 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans may experience difficulty shifting, reduced power, unexpected deceleration and rear wheel locking. Chevrolet Bolt will return in 2025, becoming part of the family
GM President Mark Reuss says this new version of the Bolt will be better, but won't be much more expensive General Motors will resume production of the Bolt EV for the 2026 model year. If all goes well, it will actually arrive in dealerships in 2025. It's expected to cost slightly more than the outgoing version, but also offer more range. The Chevrolet Bolt will return to production next year as a 2026 model, and GM plans to capitalize on the model. GM President Mark Reuss shared an update at GM's Investor Day, saying that while it won't be built on a platform that's not now called Ultium, it will still offer some new features. The meeting was held in Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Royce immediately highlighted Bolt. For one thing, he said, pricing is "only slightly higher than the 2023 Bolt."
