The new Vespa GTS makes its global market debut with a larger 310cc liquid-cooled engine (a long-stroke derivative of the previous 278cc high-performance engine). The new power unit contains more than 70% new components and has higher performance. For example, the single-cylinder stroke is now 70 mm, up from 63 mm previously. This increases displacement from 278cc to 310cc and power output to 25bhp at 7,750rpm. The new Euro 5+ engine is more efficient, reducing fuel consumption and pollutants.
