Kia is recalling 75,000 Sorento, Sorento Hybrid and Sorento plug-in hybrid vehicles due to a software issue. January 19, 2025 — The Kia Sorento recall involves about 75,000 vehicles that may lose low-beam and taillights due to a software issue. The recalled models include 2024-2025 Kia Sorento, 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid and 2025 Kia Sorento plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Kia said the culprit in the crash was a software error in the body domain control unit. On January 7, Kia decided to recall the Sorento in South Korea due to a software problem that caused "exterior/interior lighting to temporarily disappear while driving." Kia searched the U.S. Kia Sorento and found no complaints about low-beam headlight or taillight issues, but if they occur, the issues could be dangerous. October 26, 2024 — The 2024 GMC Canyon recall involves more than 15,500 trucks whose headlights may flash while driving and while parked. GM says one or both of the Canyon's headlights may flash. Flashing headlights can cause drivers to see poorly at night, but the problem also violates federal safety standards. GM launched an internal investigation in August after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration contacted the automaker about five complaints. Citroen has rolled out a host of updates for the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross SUV. The hatchback now comes with LED projector headlights, auto-folding exterior mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, and automatic climate control, all of which have been missing since its launch in mid-2022. Additionally, the presence of six airbags (standard) will further improve the safety of the Citroen C3.
