Venetian meeting space Reno debuts
LAS VEGAS—Meetings and events are at the heart of The Venetian Las Vegas, which hosts many of its signature trade shows and events each year. A $188 million renovation of the resort’s convention center has just been completed, with one floor scheduled to open in phases until 2026. The renovation was led by Las Vegas design firm Woogmaster Studio and was based on feedback from the resort’s conference clients. The Venetian took a holistic approach to the renovation, with upscale finishes including new chairs, linens and even tableware. A new 10,000-square-foot speakeasy-style lounge space was added, designed for more intimate gatherings, a departure from its signature large conference hall. In keeping with the Venetian theme, it is also furnished with Murano glass chandeliers, embroidery and antiques.
