Leappo B10 SUV Chinese specifications announced in advance

The much-anticipated Chinese market specifications of Leapmotor’s first B-series model have been revealed. The electric SUV is available in two powertrain configurations, each powered by an electric motor. The basic version has a peak power of 132 kW (175bhp) and a top speed of 160 km/h. The second version is equipped with a permanent magnet motor from Jinghua Lingsheng Power with a peak output of 160 kilowatts (211 horsepower), allowing the vehicle to reach a top speed of 170 kilometers per hour. As part of its partnership with Leapmotor, Stellantis has outlined plans to start producing and launching Leapmotor electric vehicles in key international markets such as India. Stellantis-backed Leapmotor has showcased the first model of its B-series at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. The model, called B10, is a compact electric SUV based on the Leap 3.5 platform. As a global model, the model will be launched in multiple markets next year. It has a closed grille, a large air intake, split headlights with daytime running lights at the front. Flush door handles on both sides help reduce wind noise. The rear of the car uses full-width LED taillights with the Leap Motors logo. Internal details have not yet been revealed. However, the advanced Leap 3.5 platform is said to offer cutting-edge features such as ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems), customizable digital cockpits and smart driving functions.
