Toyota RAV4 and Lexus NX wheels may come off
Toyota and Lexus dealers will need to tighten the bolts and possibly repair the damaged parts. December 6, 2024 — Toyota RAV4 and Lexus NX vehicles built in September 2024 may have their front wheels detached. In addition to wheels coming off, the front brake calipers may also come off. The recall only affects 80 2024 Toyota RAV4 vehicles and 2025 Lexus NX vehicles in the United States and Canada. According to Toyota, some bolts may not be tightened properly and may loosen over time. If the front caliper falls off, expect braking problems; if the wheel falls off while driving, expect pure hell. Toyota hasn't released much information, but owners will be contacted about the recall in February 2025.
