Photo © Getty Images SEATTLE, Washington —Explore Seattle Southside Recently announced and launched Seattle Southside Athletic Association (SSSA) - an initiative to recognise and promote the region as a top sporting destination. The alliance hopes to become a central hub for sports development, foster connections between stakeholders and enhance the event experience for athletes, spectators and local communities. The first meeting of the Seattle Southside Sports Alliance was held in June 2024, bringing together key community members and stakeholders in the local sports community. The event marked the beginning of a collaborative effort to leverage the strength of Seattle Southside’s Sports Products and driving economic impact through strategic sports development. The SSSA will work to recruit new sports opportunities, advocate for a vibrant sports community, and serve as a liaison between local sports stakeholders and the broader Puget Sound Sports Commission.
