New Toyota Camry Hybrid to be launched in India on December 11

Toyota is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated new Camry Hybrid in India on December 11, 2024. As the ninth-generation model, the 2025 Camry is expected to feature significant improvements in design, interior features, and technology. The new Camry will make its global debut in November 2023 and will be showcased in Southeast Asia in August 2024, where it will be assembled locally in India. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) bucked the trend and posted strong growth in vehicle sales in August 2024, up 35% from a year earlier. The automaker's sales growth during the period was driven by its popular MPVs and SUVs such as the Innova Hycross and Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Toyota's monthly sales increased from 22,910 units in August last year to 30,879 units last month.
